Joint Base Charleston - March 19, 2015
We spent one more night at Kings Mountain and headed to the coast, one of my favorite places to be.
We were praying the whole way down that we would be able to get a spot at the campground at Joint Base Charleston.
Our prayers were answered as we were able to get one of the few spots left. Most military campgrounds are first come first serve and there is a lot of prayer involved.
It was one of my favorite campgrounds. The people were so nice and there was a plenty of things to do for the kids. They had a wonderful playground that we spent a lot of time at.
They also had several airplanes that you could go and walk around.
We set up camp and went to explore.
The campground was next to the airstrip so we were able to watch planes take off and land all day. We also learned that they fly at night too as planes were taking off all night long.
We all took showers in there very nice bathrooms and did some laundry.
We wanted to get to bed early as we bought tickets to go to Fort Sumter and had to be there at 9 in the morning.
